I don't know much about this in detail. I feel certain that if you have been rushed, this is not the guy to lease from.

If you want a car, it would be much better for you get finance and buy it. Pay the bank back, and then at least, the car belongs to you.
I don't know anything about leasing cars except on a temporary basis. I don't know anyone who has leased a car long-term, but some people here might think its a smart move.
I would suggest that you ring a leasing company, if you have signed, and ask someone to explain to explain the details of your contract over the phone. I don't think anyone will refuse to help you.
If you haven't signed, then please go to someone else.
Legally, in Australia, there is a cooling off peroid for contracts in most states. You can also get out of a contract if you explain that the terms were not explained properly to you. In Australia businesses have to ensure that you understand what you are signing. They can be sued if they don't demonstrate they've done everything they can to help you.
