I grew up in an alcoholic household and became an alcoholic myself. I quit drinking in 1985 but,there were a lot of things I did not understand,I have a tendency to isolate.I started gambling about 6 yrs ago. I did not do any better at controlling that then I did the alcohol.I joined gamblers anonymous in January of last year .I have not gambled since.

says: I am going through the same thing with my family and even my n-laws. I just stay away from them, I figure if they loved me they would respect me  and care about my feelings and since they don't I just stay way.

I joined TOOLS because:
 I have been working on changing my life. I belong to 2 12 step programs and I thought this sounded like a good place to grow.
You are offered your dream job. What job is it?:
 I am not sure.I just know I like helping people.I think it wold be counselor for alcoholic rehab.
My favorite wild animal is:
 I love almost all animals but my favorite is the eagle.
Why (describe as much as possible):
 An eagle soars.It knows what it needs to do and does it.
My favorite domestic animal is (if you choose dog be specific with breed etc):
 a tabby cat.
Why:
 Cats are very independent . They also have a great ability to show love.They forgive easily and do not hold a grudge.

Why:
 To try something new that I would not have made myself.

 The first three because they seem like really neat people in their interviews.Bill w was the founder of AA and would be extremely interesting to talk to.My grandmother had dementia. I would love to be able to talk to her one more time and say I love you.

 I was sitting on a beach in Hawaii.The water was calm and blue. There was a perfect reflection of the sunset in the water with all the reds and yellows. It was awesome.
