I'm having a great day

"Let her grow her wings."

Oh yes, I did what coach said: I got got up, clapped and said I'm having a great day. (I did everything on the checklist too..haha) It was a bit difficult to grasp at first because my girlfriend will be leaving for Norway. She's staying there for 2 years and that's why sadness is occupuying my great day. I'm sad because I wanted to spend more time with her. I'm sad because how I wish I was able to save up for this instance and I could come with her. But wait, I really don't want her to see me sad. I shouldn't be sad to begin with. So I had a paradigm shift. This is actually her life-long dream: to study overseas. As her partner, I'm here to support her. Wanting to spend more time with her and save up taught me that I should have been more responsible. Make each moment count. =) Her dad was correct. Let her grow her wings. =) That made me smile and feel better. She has always been an angel. Im sure it's quite I sight seeing her spread her wings. Oh boy, it's really a good day today.
