plugging away

Now I'm onto Day 9, and I must say I love this program! I get dropped off at work early every morning (due to a carpool) and am now making it my morning ritual, TOOLS & coffee (& water). It helps me get started and motivated for the busy day ahead.

I'm feeling a little burnt out these days, busy with work and trying to learn how to manage my time, dealing with visiting colleagues (again) and a looming paper deadline on Monday. So on what would otherwise be a long weekend of relaxing, I'll be working hard trying to meet a submission deadline for graduate school! Tongue out I'm trying not to get too stressed about it, making a plan and checklist each day so things don't seem so overwhelming. I'll get there, I usually do, the difference being this time I'm hoping to do it with less stress!

Another thing that is making this week hard it that the weather is absolutely horrendous! While the rest of country is experiencing beautiful spring, summer weather, I've resorted to taking vitamin D as I have not seen the sun in almost 2 weeks :(

This blog may seem like a series of complaints, I don't mean for it to me. I think of it as organizing my thoughts, relieving some of the negative thoughts and stresses, parking them and moving on...yeah that'll work!
